Oz: The Great And Powerful (2013)

Acts 8:9 (KJV): But there was a certain man, called Simon, which beforetime in the same city used sorcery, and bewitched the people of Samaria, giving out that himself was some great one:

NOTE: I used Acts 8:9, because I thought it was interesting, because when I read it, the first thing that came to my mind was the “WIZARD” in the “Wizard Of Oz” & “Oz: The Great And Powerful” movies. So I decided to use Acts 8:9 to describe those movies, in a since to describe the “WIZARD” in each of these 2 movies, because if you know, or have seen the “Wizard Of Oz ” movie, then you know how the “WIZARD” of Oz was/is described as the “GREAT ONE”, or as the “GREAT” & “POWERFUL in a town/city full of people, of where he shows his magic & sorcery powers towards them, for him to be titled as the ‘GREAT ONE”, or the “GREAT” & “POWERFUL”.

Storyline: Oscar Diggs, a small-time circus magician with dubious ethics, is hurled away from dusty Kansas to the vibrant Land of Oz. At first he thinks he's hit the jackpot-fame and fortune are his for the taking. That all changes, however, when he meets three witches, Theodora, Evanora, and Glinda who are not convinced he is the great wizard everyone's been expecting. Reluctantly drawn into the epic problems facing the Land of Oz and its inhabitants, Oscar must find out who is good and who is evil before it is too late. Putting his magical arts to use through illusion, ingenuity-and even a bit of wizardry-Oscar transforms himself not only into the great and powerful Wizard of Oz but into a better man as well.
